We focused on outfitting a 40-foot racing sailboat with state-of-the-art instrumentation tailored for high-performance racing. This involved the installation of multi-sensor information processors, which were interfaced via NMEA 2000 and Ethernet connections. These processors were seamlessly integrated into a PC onboard the vessel, allowing for the processing of data using alternate software solutions. The goal was to obtain optimal race data to maximize the boat’s performance during regattas.
